Inspired IKEA: Dresser DIY

Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Continuing on with my new Inspired IKEA series  . . . I just have to share this amazing dresser makeover!

It began with the basic and rather plain TRONDHEIM dresser {below} and was completely infused with style via two shades of creamy taupe paint, stock wood trim in a chevron formation, and new antiqued bronze drawer pulls! Are you impressed? I certainly am . . . wow!

If you are feeling ambitious here is how it was done - step by step! I love the result!

P.S. This is the completely charming city of Trondheim Norway, after which the dresser is named - had to show you once I discovered it . . . add it to my dream travel list! {via}

Allison, this is such a great transformation! If you're interested, I just did a post about the newly redesigned IKEA FAMILY LIVE website. If you haven't already, you should really check out the website for more tips, inspiration and ideas.
